I provide the following advocacy services
  • Comprehensive advocacy for families of students with special needs ages 3-22
  • Review and analysis of IEP’s, 504’s, School, Academic and Medical Testing records to determine the best educational options for your child
  • Observation and Evaluation of current or proposed educational placements.
  • Exploration of “appropriate” school services, programs and treatment options for your child
  • Work with the Educational Team to develop an effective communication strategy
  • Assistance in drafting School letters, responses and agendas
  • Defining your child’s educational needs and to assist you in developing the most appropriate IEP (Individualized Education Plan) and measurable goals
  • Consultation with your child's Medical Team
  • Available to attend all Team Meetings and due process Mediations
  • Educate parents on a variety of community resources, including Doctors, Therapists, Behavioral Specialist, Occupational Therapists and Assistive Technology that are available to them
  • Educate parents of their legal rights under Federal (IDEA), NCLB and Massachusetts State Laws and Regulations
  • Development of Vocational and Transition planning for students aged 14 and up
  • I am willing to travel to most towns in the Central and Northeast, East and South East regions of Massachusetts
